gold looks primed

A look around the charts looks promising all round for gold and precious metals in general.

    1. Gold is pushing up against its last major resistance ready for a break into fresh highs. After months of consolidation, a break to the upside should have a bit of strength.

    2. Silver has formed a higher low and breached above the last peak to reestablish an uptrend via Dow Theory.

    3. Patinum continues its solid uptrend.

    4. The Japanese Yen, despite efforts by the Jap Govt to talk it down, appears to be going in the opposite direction and looks set to rise.

    5. The $US looks very weak and ready to continue its downtrend. Not the place to be at the moment unless you are going short?

Gold and Silver appears a good place to be in the market at the moment in my view.
