    4 IMF forecasts reduction of gold mining in Kyrgyzstan, portal cistranfinance.com with reference to the statement of the head of the International Monetary Fund mission, which visited the Kyrgyz Republic, Edward Gemayel reported.The IMF representative said that the regional recession, which began in 2014, will continue, while the domestic and regional factors remain the same. The IMF predicts that the economic crisis in Russia will reduce Kyrgyzstan's GDP by 1.7 percent. Also in 2015 the level of gold production will decrease."The mission held fruitful talks with the authorities about the possibility of the introduction of the IMF program to support reforms, - said Edward Gemayel. - Over the next few weeks, staff of the fund will remain in close contact with the authorities to finalize their goals."Recall, in the course of the meeting, representatives of the IMF and Kyrgyzstan discussed the measures that the country plans to implement to ensure a stable and comprehensive legal framework for increasing growth in the macroeconomic scale.
