Other than ALK, I have a pretty wide range of gold stocks.
I am a disappointed holder of NEM which is a result of initially being a holder of Lihir Gold which was acquired by Newcrest. NEM should be at the top but always seems to find a way to stumble.
I have suffered the lows of RRL and since closing out the hedge I am very happy with the recent performance.
I'm not sure if spec stocks are wanted here as they have been performing abysmally in recent years.
I recently bought into SMX which has ground 550m from RMS gold mine.
The last one is TTM in Ecuador which is my biggest investment having timed my initial purchase badly. They have a JORC Resource of 3.1M Oz Gold. They also have a JV with Gina for one of their Copper assets with a look through value of their 20% free carried stake being $47m.
Led by well known mining expert in Peter Cook, strong cash position and still only a 100m market cap.
Like most holders of ALK, I feel we are holding the right commodity and Trump's policies should only support our conviction.
