I think you're correct. The dynamics of wars is changing and transforming, a navy and army will eventually consist of more autonomous hardware, drones, autonomous battle frigates, submarines ect...than troops or fighter pilots or human life on the front line.

Wars will be about who can destroy the most targets and infrastructure while sitting behind a monitor screen and firing without risk to the operator.

Any company who builds network platforms, system integration, military software programming etc will benefit big time as it will become highly sought after.
