I strongly believe we won't be using McIntosh Graphite when it is eventually mined. reason being is the main production plant will be built in the USA. sourcing graphite from USA mines would be more cost effective then to import McIntosh Graphite from Aus to USA that would have tariff / import tax and transportation cost.
The only opportunity i see GCM using McIntosh Graphite is if we build a plant in Australia but i highly doubt this will happen.
The existing plant is a pilot plant and i get a sense it will be decommissioned after the pilot is finished unless GCM can find an Australian Client.
