    EV's can't be built without crude oil.

    EV's are full of products made from oil so if EV's do save the planet, they will only do so if we continue to mine crude oil.

    Tires, electrical insulation, the glass, the interior, the paint, the circuit boards are all derived from crude oil that Shell and other oil companies make.
