The answer to question of why an Italian coy is listed on ASX is very simple. The ASX is a well regulated , liquid exchange that allows foreign coy that comply with its listing requirements to access working capital.

It is very common for companies overseas to list on the asx as a stepping stone to listing on other exchanges they would not normally have access to. One that springs to mind is Israel based Weebit - nano.

The exchanges available to start-up is very limited globally. The ASX heads the world in this area. Some may say, it bad for Australian investor, as alot of start-ups fail, other believe the opportunities to invest in a liquid exchange far outweighs venture capital investing.
