Good article - the another question I keep asking myself ... is C19 really a climate change issue and (one way or the other) associated with population density and resources on this planet.
I suspect - The elephant in the room is not C19, it's population growth/consumption.
Something has to give - the world can't continue with globalized consumption growth for ever - when does the planet start to fight back - was C19 the first sign?
If so WW2 comparisons are not relevant as what helped after WW2 was a huge consumptive period lead by technological and manufacturing advances that flowed through to consumption through branding.
In a sense we are at the end of that (macro) branding/consumption cycle that started after WW2 I expect.
