All well and good, but a reality check 1) It is not the only Ionic Technology that has been developed recently, I know of at least four similar operations/process' being touted in various countries. 2) A "Patent" is hardly worth the paper it is written on these days, half the World does not recognize them (especially China). 3) Once somebody who knows the technicalities leaves the Company, it is not that hard for them to make minor alterations to the process to circumvent the "Patent". 4) The really hard bit in getting any RE operation into production is raising Finance, the UK Government is broke, good luck getting them to foot the bill, you may get a couple of more grants but certainly not what you expect.
