I think Brainchip has been very strategic not to intimidate anyone...we are still on stealth mode even when someone like Mr Johnson from IBM is singing our praise.
I think Intel as a company is a Ferrari but I don't believe Loihi as a neuromorphic platform is a Ferrari when compared to Akida.
Since neuromorphic NPUs are completely in a different and new space, I think developers will not be too biased on big tech name status and will be willing to work with any start-up that has gone through the rigours of validation and has a visionary road map for further evolving intelligence. I guess as investors we look for that too. Brainchip currently ticks all the boxes for any developers wishing to go neuromorphic and Brainchip has set things up so easily for any developers to try Akida, which can be either totally independent or with assistance. I don't think you can have as much freedom atm if you wish to play around with Loihi...Intel will instantly wish to take control and place certain conditions...maybe not as intuitive or compatible or certain deficiency?...maybe Loihi 3 will be better...let's wait and see but remember it too will have to go through the rigours of validation in the real world, not in the lab.
Again all my opinion, take or leave it.
I think Brainchip has been very strategic not to intimidate...
