When I attended the presentation in Melbourne recently and spoke to the directors, I sensed from our conversations that they were 100% committed to get this job done as soon as possible..
As time rolls on one does get the feeling that the urgency is perhaps not as high as one would hope for.
If wages currently being paid had conditions put in place then perhaps the urgency might be greater. It saddens me that I even have these thoughts running through my mind .
I am hoping that LNG has not become a lifestyle company where directors get paid a very good salary for not actually doing too much. One would love to be a fly on the wall and watch on a daily basis who is actually doing what . Are long lunches a common theme. What has been achieved since their trip to Down Under. How many meetings have been organised to meet with possible partners . The simple answer is no one knows. As shareholders we are all left to ponder. The one thing I admired about Maurice Brand was, he was determined to turn LNG into a global company, and when the mountains were too hard to climb in Australia, he hopped on a plane and sought out opportunities in the U.S
One could never question his commitment to achieve shareholder wealth. That should be first and foremost the most important objective for any company director. M.B achieved this by being responsible in lifting a share price from below 20c to 5 dollars in the space of a few years. It was a remarkable achievement.
I am hoping that the words of commitment by Greg and co were not just words.
I am hoping that their commitment is as strong as M.B's.
I was hoping that the Stonepeak commitment would instill some confidence into possible BTA partners, but obviously this has not been the case thus far..
I have been hoping for quite some time that shareholders would finally have something to smile about and be rewarded for their loyalty..
The LNG story reminds me so much of the person who has worked physically hard all his life to provide for his wife and family . Having achieved that goal, he continues to work extra hard and saves his pennies to one day be able to enjoy his retirement and then tragically dies a week after reaching his 65th birthday .

even with a BTA announcement i suspect, yes SP will rise however, it will be capped!
if any here thinking this will propel to anything above a buck are dreaming ,,,lots will be happy to sell this now, potential "dog" status .....revenue IN is still years away....cash on hand, OUT , is lower each Q ,,,,IMO a CR is 100% certain in the future .. will depend on the timing of announcements when it may happen....
