    A Florida Black Vulture hanging out in a pen of tortoises. As soon as the sun came out, all 4 or 5 put their wings out like this.

    The female Anhinga - reportedly, when looking for a mate the male presents her with a suitable stick for the nest. If she thinks it unsuitable, she takes it, hits him over the head with it and departs. Believe it or not.

    His nibs appeared to take no notice. It was still very early in the mating season and as lunch loomed, I decided to move on rather than wait for a climax.
