Chickens a bit slow on eggs but I do have over a dozen in the fridge, mostly small ones.
Been thinking 4 of the larger chooks 2 x Plymouth rock 1 x Silver laced Wyandotte 1 x Blue laced Wyandotte , the youngest should be laying soon thou Blue laced Wyandotte is looking like it maybe a rooster
Well the other day I noticed a light Sussex bantam spending a bit too much time on the nest and thought it maybe becoming broody, so decided to see if she was sitting on any eggs and if so remove them.
Well was quite surprised to find this large egg under her, dare say she didn't lay it. Would not be surprised if it's a double yoker, the small egg is what I would expect from the light Sussex bantam
