You could take the view that, although of course they neeed them for metallurgy, they are also 'directors holes', so one can be a bit cynical. There are plenty of examples out there of twinned holes for market appetite.
Gee those sections look to be a dogs breakfast. There seems to be no consistency at all in the hole orientations. Just making a useful section must be a nightmare. Fair enough I guess they are basically big pipes, but the statistics will surely be a lot better for resoource calculation if the drill pattern shows some system?
