Ever heard a MD make such a bullish statement?

Anyone ever heard this type of statement from a MD of an ASX micro cap company with a tiny valuation of just $200 Million (cash removed)?

"I firmly believe that CLINUVEL can realistically attain a valuation north of A$7.5B or US$5B, given the prospect of vitiligo, ACTH, EPP markets, formulation platforms, and the probity of financial management maintained over the past two decades. Further, I believe such a valuation is justified and justifiable."

Quite remarkable, ultra bullish comments which I can't recall any MD making for such a tiny company - anyone heard anything like that? When this was released to the ASX on 15th January 2026 the share price was about 30% higher. Also back then we didn't know closest competition Disc was about to fail at the FDA with a CRL rejection (although some of us might have guessed haha). Also since then the shorting attack on Clinuvel has reached extreme levels with constant daily manipulation as ASIC data keeps showing. Still I have never heard of a micro cap this strong printing $50 Million in profits each year with blockbuster near term opportunities and not partnered up with Big pharma to share future massive potential profits with?

It's actually pretty rare for a MD to put that type of forecast in words to an ASX announcement. I interpret it as confident in Vitiligo's chances as well as Neuracthel. The blockbuster Vitiligo drug is already FDA/EMA approved and proven safe and effective in EPP so that is no small thing having years of real data backing. Talk of upscaling comm's for a higher valuation, maintaining a higher valuation and reaching wider audiences are all great sounding for shareholders and it should all coincide wth the imminent NASDAQ listing. PW for years was incentivised to hit $7.5 Billion market cap and failed (the company was nowhere near as strong as it is today though) but funny that last year it all switched to STI's which we don't know as far as I know, and didn't help the share price but he seemed to get them all I believe?? Funny to give STIs to a long standing MD right at the supposed end of his tenure and now there is talk of what I expect will be generous share grants for milestones which are very close and they have been reimbursed for pursuing for about two decades. My opinion is the only share grants now should be for share price performance, not for goals that a going to be hit in the next couple of years. Time for talk is over, great Biotech executives understand the shareprice is the scorecard and this one keeps failing and it's probably no coincidence that they keep getting strikes on remuneration reports despite having the best financial performance of any small/tiny Biotech near this size. I think executive remuneration seems to be very healthy relative to performance and would stack up well in companies valued at multi-billion valuations let alone at this tiny valuation.

Here are three ways they could immediately grow the valuation, improve the company and show faith in their own words:

    1. Do the share buyback they already have in place for 1.5 Million shares. Removing those shares has so many benefits like permanent EPS increase, lower payout for future dividends, signal to market, improved shareholder sentiment as announcing and not doing a buyback is bloody weird, shows their words to the ASX and Youtube videos are actually to be believed. So many companies and Biotechs doing buybacks, why so hard for Clinuvel when it is just a tiny, tiny percentage of shareholder cash? It must be remembered the share price was much higher when the BB was announced and they even bought back a few shares around the $15 mark and now with a share price at 8 year lows it makes no sense not to buyback shares when Clinuvel is stronger than ever.

    2. PW could buy a few shares himself, not just a token 1000. I don't really care if he does or not but that would be an easy bullish signal to invest some of his was it $5 Million pay packet last year? back into good ole Clinuvel if he had a bit spare and wants to back his $7.5 Billion belief a bit more?

    3. Board could do the same, or at the very least they should make sure the BB is carried out in full. We can all see the daily low volume downward manipulation. 40% of holders are lifetime holders, you would think they deserve capital distributions to be carried out as announced to the ASX like at any other company, it's not hard, probably easier than organising a Michelin catered Soiree in Monaco I reckon.

Anyway let's get to that $7.5 Billion valuation that PW believes we can go north of after his market analyses over the years from today's statement. Happy to see them hit $2 Billion or $3 Billion to get the ball rolling, someone mentioned earlier that would mean ASX200 etc and index buying which would be meaningful as Clinuvel very tightly held and they have told us before it only takes one or two large buyers to create those $40 plus share prices (which is $2 Billion). So go and get another one or two large buyers, the company is stronger now than it has ever been. Imagine if they snagged 5 or 6 big buyers, or 10? Just a few thoughts, it an interesting little company with big ambitions. NASDAQ listing in the next month or two should be interesting.

    ALL IMO DYOR
