of course a man who is paid to be an active fund manager has to say that.....
the dangers with active managers is that many of them underperform the index and charge fees for it.
I believe both active and passive have a place in a well constructed portfolio, especially for global shares.
how many fund managers have outperformed the NASDAQ the past few years ?
but I don't use passive investing in Aussie shares as the ASX200 index is very uninspiring.
