"It is true that we voted in favor of Cottee

As you are aware from reading my post on an other site, we did that to send a message to Cottee that we are flexible, and that we can and may vote against him at a later stage if certain matters we raised are not addressed correctly

You have also said in a similar response:

"... You are correct SP did cast all proxies he held in favor of RC,

JH was informed that this was going to occur, so as to let Cottee know that we were independent and not glued to JH.

BUT importantly RC was informed that we would vote against him on future votes unless certain matters were not resolved to out satisfaction

    Camdenbob,

    I am speechless!

For weeks everyone on here listened to your lecturing and diatribe denigrating Richard Cottee and promoting John Heugh and today you have the audacity to say that YOU VOTED AGAINST JOHN HEUGH and in favour of Richard Cottee.

Shareholders who voted as YOU repeatedly recommended in your communications both here via your "how to vote" card and elsewhere as well as in the personal e-mails sent to shareholders have a right to feel betrayed by you and your "syndicate".

When push came to shove, you did not vote as you had repeatedly advised you would - and as you had repeatedly advised shareholders on here - and that goes to the credibility, integrity and honesty of your syndicate.

The behaviour of your syndicate now reeks of "personal self-interest" and your claim above of taking the action you did to demonstrate your "independence from John Heugh" (and not being wedded to John Heugh) should now be challenged by all whom you led down the garden path to vote one way when you and your syndicate voted another way.

As for your claim above that you wanted to send a message to Cottee that you ... "would vote against him on future votes unless certain matters were not resolved to our satisfaction" ... I'm sorry but in my book that is unacceptable and smells of manipulation of a democratic election process and an outcome which is now supported by the majority of shares at the expense of the view of your minority.

Vote your shares anyway you choose - that is your right - but do not attempt to threaten democratically elected processes and encumbents by virtue of your holding.

It is now known that you did not and do not hold sufficient shares to present a majority vote against ANY of the positions recommended by the Board when the two EGMs were held on Friday - that makes you and your syndicate a MINORITY shareholding. The MAJORITY of the shares were voted as per Friday's results and your syndicate was defeated on all accounts. For that syndicate to now threaten the democratically elected Board and CEO is not acceptable.

Maybe the time has come to divorce yourself from the interests of some of your syndicate members (who have affiliations with entities who have their eyes on some of OUR assets - so they are not and cannot claim to be independent) - and get behind the democratically elected Board and the new CEO.

You are destablising and damaging this company!

(and for those who didn't do Latin at school ... "Et tu, Brute?" is a Latin phrase supposedly the last words of the Roman dictator Julius Caesar to his friend Marcus Brutus at the moment of his assassination.)
