Great post @caredes. EM is posting patents of the stuff it has developed to turn MEMS wafers into MEMS dies and keep them safe while they are turned into packaged digital speaker chips. My thoughts are that you don't get to develop such things without there being a call for them. And who would have such call at this point in time? You don't patent things until they are proven to do the job. Ergo: EM have been doing this job in very recent history. Why would this be do you suppose?
