Well yeh but it isn't exactly a sure thing. The favourite to win is Ronaldo @1.50 odds and in the last 10 years it's been either Ronaldo or Messi and I'm betting on Modric. So I don't see how this is a bad bet for ladbrokes to take on.
Guess they were just trying to see how much I'd push for the more favourable odds of 4.50 rather than the new odds of 2.80.
