djia worst december since '31

North America has come to expect a late December festive season boost to the DJIA , three years in four, leading it to a high close on the 31st.

Just a very occassional year is a stinker , such as 1968 when December saw it loose 4.25%

However this year is looking to be far more negative, the worst since 1931, apparently, already off circa 5.5% and shaping up to get even worse potentially, as festive bouyancy fades.
