    Let's see...at 16 ounces to the pound and 2240 pounds to the ton that makes 167 tons equal to 5,985,280 ounces. At $350 an ounce that's worth a little over $2 billion or is my maths flawed?

    Methinks that selling the gold was just one of Costello's tricks to put his budget into surplus. Now that there is no more gold to sell, he is now just sitting back and waiting for bracket creep to work as an invisible tax hike.
