    Australia's trade deficit widens in August

    Australia's seasonally adjusted trade deficit widened to 2.02 billion Australian dollars ($2.06 billion) in August, from A$1.53 billion in July, according to data released Wednesday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Exports fell 3% to A$24.5 billion while imports declined 1% to A$26.6 billion, according to the ABS. Economists had been expecting a trade deficit of A$685 million
