A repeat drink-driver will serve at least four years in jail for driving a car that struck and killed a 17-year-old Geelong schoolgirl on her way to a party after attending a debutante ball.
The court was told Ladlow was a hardworking, decent man. It heard that Ladlow had a prior conviction for drink-driving 20 years ago and a conviction for refusing a breath test 17 years ago.
