I agree as the tax system stands.
If the 50% CGT concession and Negative gearing were
removed, IMO that would not be so ..the supply/demand/price
formula assumes a free market...not one skewed by tax regulation/benefits .
If NG is to be retailed then it should be offset with annual CGT on the property appreciation
Popilist Solution: Stop Immigration
OECD Solution: Remove the 50% CGT concession & negative Gearing (also Shorten Solution)
-Other Solutions:
-Massive social housing program similar to immediate Post WW2 Program
(neccessary then to prevent returned soldiers unrest & accommodate massive immigration )
-Decentralise Government services away from Capital Cities
-Mandate Granny flats as a short term solution
-etc etc etc
