Are you sure? The CEO said the challenge that they've been experiencing since 2013 is conducting clinical trials on humans, which is rife with ethical issues that are difficult to get around. Given the recent study with the positive results, it seems more likely that it the drug has a lasting effect on removing the HIV virus from the cell reservoirs. The test result they posted is the stage II results. Looking at wikipedia, there are generally 4 stages post animal testing. Stage II is testing the efficacy of the drug with people with the disease. Stage III is pretty much the same, but an inclusion of safety. Given the results of Stage II, it seems that the drug is also safe for consumption. Therefore, realistically, they only require Stage IV, which allows physicians to administer the drug to patients for a wider community test. So... I dont see how your statement is justified, given that they have shown that it is effective and they were in Stage O and Stage I up until 2013, and they've successfully completed Stage II last week!
