Computer prob

I've installed Norton AV 2002 and use an email prog called The BAT - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED EMAIL PROG, by the way.

I've gone trhouf\gh every preference and configure option but STILL have this problem

When i send an email the AV checks it so ensuring nothing leaves my machine infected

But I cant seem to get it to check my incoming message.

Nothing i do seems to get it the message. CHECK!!!!

Any ideas??
