    I think you that your closing statement says a little of how I see scripture and of the attempts to interpret it.

    And yet the vastly more complex God compared to the human body is supposed to have somehow always been in existence. To me it's replacing a difficult problem with an even more difficult one.

    To me scripture and the numerous contradictory interpretations of scripture can only be the product of the "great imagination of the mind of Man" - but I won't exclude Women. I think it's the perennial issue - if you can't understand something, attribute it to God.
