More importantly Mr G, who does the Bible "actually" say made/formed man and all the other creations. All through the Gen account of creation, it clearly shows God as the hands on.
Jesus himself makes it clear, his God and Father made man. If Jesus had a hands on roll, would he not say, "we" made man?
What does it show - as I explained to you before, if you actually take time with God's help and read the verse and surrounding verses in Prov, you will see in the context of the surrounding verses, master worker is inappropriate. Take that out and then align the prov verses with Gen, that's what it shows in Gen, Jesus by his Fathers side etc.
What do you do with the various verses in the OT where it says, God alone created? Surely you are aware of them, following is a snippet (as there are many more) but take note also, The word here.
Creation Bible Verses (KJV)
Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (KJV)
Psalm 104:24-25 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. (KJV)
Psalms 104:30 “Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.” (KJV)
Psalms 135:6 “Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.” (KJV)
Psalms 33:6-9 3:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
33:7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. (KJV)
Psalms 8:3-4 “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; (Confer Holy orders on) What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (KJV)
Nehemiah 9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. (KJV)
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. (KJV)
Job 26:11- 14 “The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth (Past participle, smite=strike with firm blow) through the proud. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?” (KJV)
Acts 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
So the above seems rather fitting here to me or aligns with this verse. The bit that amazes me, in this verse we have God at some point before anything with all his plans within him, thoughts which as we see in the above came about (into action) via "his word" and "his Spirit". So why in God's name would someone try and take that from him which they do in John. Goodness, just have a look at the meanings for word that can be used in the Greek. Ask, is it not strange to change it's meaning just for John?
John 1:2 Says, the same (not he) was in the beginning. That is God obviously with his Spirit, plan which he outwardly expressed via his word and into action/complete with His Spirit as clearly shown in 1:3 which also aligns with all of the above and nothing was made without him (God).
And as Prov rightfully says, Jesus was by his side as one brought up.......who comes along, shown to us only at 1:14 and this was done/achieved as we know via the "same" word (God) that created all the above.
So would you not agree here Mr G that the OT sets the stage for the NT as well?
I would appreciate it if you didn't just fob these off or ignore.
