    WES is being rational
Unlike the virtue signalling left bank who imposed this ban
Result has been more sales of small bags to use as bin liners as most people reused their plastic bags to line other bins or for dog crap etc
Also people turning up at supermarkets with dirty bags - so hygiene is compromised in a place where we get our food
Sure you occasionally see bags as litter but relatively rarely
Our garbage gets disposed of in landfill and the bags break down in sunlight anyway
All the images of waterways choked with plastic were from asia
The impact of the bag ban is negative - hygiene, shopping patterns etc
It should never have been imposed
More and better analysis of the consequences should have been undertaken

WES is responding to its rational customers who mostly live in the real world and object to being told what to do by a special interest group

WES should make more sales and customers may return with the bags they were given - brand loyalty
