At least debit card surcharges and credit card surcharges down in Australia will be deemed illegal by the ALP and outlawed like Albo and the ALP have promised.
Debit card surcharges and credit card surcharges should already have been ruled illegal like everywhere else in the world.
I am glad that Labor will criminalise debit card surcharges and credit card surcharges.
All owners of businesses charging debit card surcharges and credit card surcharges should have their businesses closed down and should be fined for such illegality when debit card surcharges and credit card surcharges are made illegal by Labor.
Such surcharges should be regarded as theft. Surcharging business owners should be charged with theft and put out of business forever.
