no red/blue dichotomy will fix this. they are collections of party social networkers and liars imo.

as we all know from the charts of housing prices, particularly when compared with wages growth, we see the origin of the departure of housing prices from wages in early 2000s when the GST began and CGT discount was applied. Wages were deliberately suppressed by the former 3 consecutive LNP Govts and every election feature more and more assistance to "First Home Buyers" the most popular theme they could come up with. these factors forced up housing prices more than anything else and made deposits harder and harder to achieve.
