Tuart Resources, the owner of two Western Australian vineyards, has already arranged the sale of its entire 2003 vintage. The Melbourne-based investor, NexBanc, has agreed to purchase 2.3 million bottles of cleanskin wine made from the grapes grown at Tuart's vineyards. Tuart is to contract the wine production and bottling, and NexBanc will have the bottles labelled according to its specifications. It is understood the wine will be sold overseas. Tuart estimates it will receive more than $A10.5m from the deal. Tuart is also planning to conduct feasibility studies on expanding its plantings at its Preston Vale vineyards.
