    Forrest, you are quite right.

    In 12 months time, the markets could have turned around, the FTSE could be powering ahead, and with a strong divided yield, I may be very happy to hold, but there are always competing interests for your capital. 16 months ago Burns Philp came out with some major one off right downs. Their price almost halved over the next 2months. I picked the 2003 oppies up at 34cents and then st 24 cents again. By the time my 12 months ownership was up, I had more than doubled my money. After the nice rally that took place, I figured I may take some profit. They have since come down 20% and I just bought more.....Graham Hart from N.Z is no dummie.

    This is not for everyone.....just sharing what works for me.
