I honestly don't know what to make of it. I originally worked on the assumption that with MATD's huge potential on one side of the fence, it was very possible that WOF could well benefit as their acreage became more desirable to others watching MATD. Or WOF found a way to do something for themselves or in partnership etc.
When I got into WOF (2.6c) it was when MATD was flying up around 35p. I saw it as a parallel play. Since that period, both have subsequently drifted down to far lower levels, as is so often the case when lack of funds, capital raises, license delays, management changes, political issues, seasonal windows and other factors come into play. Any of the above often sees a sell off as traders and short termers move on to play elsewhere - we see this all the time on AIM.
My renewed interest in MATD lies in the fact they are actually due to begin a low cost drilling programme in a matter of weeks. Check out this piece;
