Hmmm ... Bush doesn't get it right that often.

However, he has previously signalled his economic stimulus package is going to be a 'money-in-the-hand' recovery by correctly 'putting America back to work' ...

Bush today ..."I am concerned for those who cannot get a job and to look after those who cannot find one" ... "and I am committed to do something about it."

Whilst there are some problems with the 'beggar thy neighbour' Trade Policy etc ... nonetheless Bush has it right.

Johnnie needs to take note and get busy.

A 'real job' Johnnie is one a Bank Manager will lend against for a home loan ... not the junk casual/part-time crap we are having that merely props up your Unemployment numbers and which conceal the real problem with Oz globalisation efforts to date ...

The Abbott/Vanstone Combo have long since lost the plot ...

Don't expect the dream run (based on contract slavery/unpaid overtime) to continue thru 2003 ... Oz will weaken due to complacency ahead of others who are already gearing up ...

The Economic Darling could just as easily become the Poor Cousin over the next year ...
