BugBear

G'day all,

I am sure that you are all aware of the Bugbear virus by now. Just thought I'd mention a couple of things.

1. We have found some PCs that were running Anti Virus software but managed to get infected before the virus signature was released by the software vendor. It is probably worthwhile either loading down and running the removal tool from symantec or running a full scan on your system once you are sure that you have the latest updates.

2. Symantec have updgraded this virus to level 4. It is travelling very fast. I have intercepted 3 or 4 on my own PC already today.

3. Shared Printers. If you are running a network and your shared printers have suddenly started printing rubbish then you probably have bugbear. A "bug" in bugbear causes this behaviour
