Bozo Bowen is leading the negotiations with Palaszczuk's QLD govt squabbling over massive 'sweeteners' and they're right now deciding how many $billions in inducements she'll get from us taxpayers to nationalise the State's coal and gas production.
Any price cap subsidies from Albo's govt should be paid straight to the producing companies' shareholders not the QLD State coffers which has already dramatically increased the royalties it is taxing the producers.
QLD treasury coffers should be full to the brim after the recent QLD royalty hikes on coal but QLD's state govt is now looking at grabbing even more from shareholders by horsetrading with Bowen to avoid the rightful financial restitution to shareholders once commodity prices are capped and returns on capital investment limited.
The shareholders who put in their hard-earned as capital to explore for these energy sources and then funded the development of extensive infrastructure for production plants and pipelines or railways are being treated like dirt by greedy communist regimes in both the QLD state and the federal gov'ts who have already skimmed all the cream off the cake.
Coal and gas producers' Shareholders should be the only parties negotiating substantial compensation and redress not Palascczuk's purloining plunderers. She has had seized her tax grab and will continue to take a fixed royalty per quantity of coal produced no matter what price the producer receives!
State involvement in legislating these proposed nationalised federal price caps on chosen commodities is straight up stealing from shareholders to avoid reparation that the Fed's are legally and morally liable to pay.
