Biblical Prophecy, Past, Present, and What May Be Before Us
This thread is opened to explore biblical prophecy in a serious, respectful, and thoughtful way. The purpose is not to claim absolute certainty, nor to declare that any one person has every interpretation correct, but to encourage honest discussion, careful study, and awareness of how Scripture may align with past history, present events, and what may still lie ahead.

Biblical prophecy is not a fringe topic. It is woven deeply throughout Scripture. A significant portion of the Bible is prophetic in nature, and YHWH repeatedly shows that prophecy is given so His people would recognize truth, discern the times, and place their trust in Him rather than in the systems of men.

One of the greatest examples of fulfilled prophecy is found in Yeshua Himself. Over 300 prophecies written hundreds of years before His birth point directly to who He was, what He would do, how He would suffer, and why He came.

These fulfilled prophecies stand as a powerful witness to the reliability of Scripture and to the importance of prophecy as evidence, not speculation.

This thread will welcome discussion on
    • Past prophecies that have already been fulfilled
    • Present world events that may reflect prophetic patterns
    • Future prophecies, especially from Daniel and Revelation, and how they may relate to our time

Daniel and Revelation, in particular, appear increasingly relevant. Many feel that these books are no longer distant or abstract, but are beginning to feel as though they are about to step off the page and into reality. Whether one agrees or not, this sense alone makes them worthy of sober examination.

Scripture itself encourages us to value prophecy:
“Surely my Lord YHWH does nothing unless He reveals His counsel to His servants the prophets.”
    Amos 3:7
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place.”

    2 Peter 1:19
“Blessed is the one who reads the words of the prophecy, and those who hear and keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”

    Revelation 1:3

This thread is not about fear, sensationalism, or date-setting. It is about discernment, humility, and awareness. It is about acknowledging that while we may not have everything correct, prophecy was given for a reason, and ignoring it entirely is not wisdom.

All respectful contributions are welcome. Thoughtful disagreement is encouraged. Personal attacks, mockery, or dismissive attitudes are not. This subject deserves care and maturity.

Members are also encouraged to share relevant videos, studies, or presentations, whether from YouTube or other platforms, that offer insight into prophecy, history, Scripture, or current events, provided they are shared respectfully and with the understanding that discussion, not blind agreement, is the goal.

Let this be a place to think deeply, examine Scripture honestly, and consider the times we are living in. If prophecy truly matters, then it deserves our attention. If it does not, then it should still be tested rather than ignored.
May this thread provoke thought, not division, and may it point hearts back to truth, discernment, and ultimately to YHWH.
