    The US maintains a sedate descent but is starting to rev up a bit. The SPX yearly low will probably get taken out tonight. VIX is starting to push into the 50 zone. Watchout for fireworks in the next week.

    This "lowest ever close" on the ASX stuff the international media were pumping yday is giving me the irrits. They are technically correct for the XJO, but its all a bit stoopid.

    Dont know what we needed new indices for anyway. Or maybe I'm just becoming a boring change-resistant old fart.
