re: Beach Petroleum - A I hold BPT for the longer term but only problem I see with it is amount of reserves and lack of what I call the "excitement factor" that you get when a company drills say for 20 or more million barrels. Most of Cooper/Eromanga targets are small, profitable, but small. Maslins was the largest prospect of the current set of 4 wells, 3-4 million barrels I think, and that got the adrenelin flowing for a while spiking the fps at 42 cents but it has been back to mid 30s since. Even the drilling of Henley and todays good profit result and small divvie couldn't move the market. Compared to what AWE for example has coming up in the next few months BPT is just plain boring, good but boring. I am going to put mine in a bottom draw. JBC
