I think Covid-19 has everything to do with the market, because...

    I think Covid-19 has everything to do with the market, because the ever-rising cases can cause further shut down or slow down on re-opening, therefore, will effect the economy, jobs and therefore further reduced in spending, which will eventually trickle down to the bottom line of companies, if they haven't gone bankrupt yet.

    I reckon we are in a similar periods like we were in Jan, when Covid-19 was just announced to the world. The outbreaks and out-of-control cases in the US will just shoot up in the next 2-3 weeks, after all the Independance Day partying. Lockdown will either be mandatory or voluntary IMO, and don't forget, death rate lags behind new case rate.

    Though yes, Covid-19 is just the tip of the iceberg, there are many other reasons why the market will collapse, just look at the valuation of companies out there, it's beyond ridiculous, Tesla alone has gone up 30%+ in the last 2 weeks or something, becoming more valuable than Toyota.
