    with the 1st round of mortgage repayment deferrals ending sept 30, followed by additional deferrals for those that have a reasonable financial situation, then for those that are taking up the deferrals it will add quite a lot to their total mortgage, including the final year when interest rates are likely to be higher. simply more money for ANZ.
    for those who are unable to defer repayments come Oct 1st [and where ANZ foreclose] then ANZ will end up with properties that include some which are worth less than the mortgage. it will be interesting how it plays out after October 1st and will ANZ have to sell properties straight away that have been foreclosed
