I also remember the CDU spike past $10 very well because I tried to short it when the freefall began. The perfect short storm I thought at the time. Hence, I tried to short at $9.50 but didn't set my limit low enough, hence, the short didn't get filled. Tried again minutes later, same story. Then tried again just minutes later and got my short filled at $7.70 on the 3rd attempt. Subsequentlly CDU went into a Trading Halt about 20 minutes later, and later still was suspended. I couldn't believe it, I had just opened a large short, then that happened. After being suspended for quite a while, about 2 months from memory, trading reopened and I closed my short 10 minutes or so later at about $5.20 or so.
An excellent relatively low risk profit, but look at CDU now, closed today at 34.5 cents.
