Australian murdered at Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls

An Australian tourist has reportedly been stabbed to death at the country's prime tourist destination, Victoria Falls.

The chief of police at Victoria Falls, Alexio Paradzai, has told Zimbabwean state radio the Australian man was attacked as he came out of the rainforest at the waterfall on Saturday.

The tourist died on the spot.

State radio reports no arrests have been made and no motive for the murder established.

Police have not released the man's name.
