Astrazeneca's forward decisions

AB appreciate your opinion re, AZ have two candidates running, SPL's in house tests heading into phase two, lab tests on another oncology drug show's great result, so AZ is now looking at treatments outside the current licence agreement, how do they deal with this, re-negotiate current licence? set up a new agreement?or what?. Is it getting close to the point that AZ start to think that they want to own this DEP technology? If they do believe that the SPL DEP technology is the best thing since sliced bread will they want to be going drug to drug with licence payments leaving SPL to deal with others as well or do they say NO we need to stitch this up now. Then what do they pay??
