VUL really sounds like a wet dream of the eco (Öko) Germans, however I see multiple red flags in their project. Noone so far has been able to estimate - even approximately - their opex per tonne of LCE, their water consumption etc.
No project is perfect but if you want to have dome Li inside of the European Union, EMH is definitely a good bet (plus maybe Keliber).
