ARTHURD- Here we go

  1. Arthurd,
I've just picked at random a flower gif to practise on.As you would gathered by now that the Hotcopper system will not allow the sender to print the whole address on to a post because the system follows the instructions and delivers the gif on the page.

This is a URL address for the flower I picked at random.

    http://wtv-zone.com/BannerzRus/2/gc/fl3.gif

When this address appears on your screen place your cursor on the left side of the first h in http.
    2.Type in <
3.type in img straight after the <
    4.After img (space once)
    5.(after the space) type src
    6.Straight after src type ="
7.By now the " should be up against the letter h

    THATS THE FIRST PART......
8.Now go to the end of your address where the word gif is and right next to the right hand side of the letter f put " followed straight away by an >

I'm hoping the computer will allow me to at least show you this much

you begin with < img src="

    (the address is in between)

    and finish ">

    SECOND IDEA....Which is much easier.............................................

What I've also done is if the above doesn't work is to put the whole address down except I've substituted the letters hoping to trick the computer, you'll have to put the correct letters back......a is i b is...m c is...g
    d is...s e is...r f is...c
Do not substitite any letters between the two inverted commas " "

    now post .
