the difference is they don’t say they are being sponsored by the brands.

You can say you can win an adidas bag and there is no issue but to say you can win an adidas bag that adidas has sponsored is misleading and deceptive conduct as adidas doesn’t know about it and you cannot just use people’s logos.

The company I work for has to ask for permission to use logos of our partners and some of them have been with us for over 20 years and I speak regularly with the director of APAC. We have a great relationship and we have never been refused not to be allowed to use them but if he came back and said no i/we would respect that (I would also ask him why to make sure things are okay), however no way would I/we just use their logo on something without their knowledge.
