    Thanks for the good work following the US International Trade Commission hearings. It was very much appreciated.

    Balama won't be at full production for years because there isn't enough non Chinese graphite manufactures to process 350kt of flake per year.

    Graphite is in the same boat as rare earths. It isn't about the mining of either. It's all about the ability to process graphite or rare earths into something useful and cheaper than you can sell it. Every planned non Chinese owned AAM processing plant both synthetic and natural except Vidalia has been put on hold for the last 2-3 years globally (NVX was supposed to build a 3kt synthetic plant 12 months ago but they still haven't finished it). Same for all graphite mines except for a couple of small mines like Molo in Madagascar.

    Hopefully a positive Trade Commission hearings outcome will solve the "cheaper than you can sell it" part. Then all those on hold global plans to build AAM plants will proceed. However, they take 2-3 yrs to build and another 2yrs to fully ramp to nameplate capacity.
