Pullback commenced M 5/8 .... doubt this is anywhere near finished in the interim but anything can happen in the market
Trump and Jinping are the 'apocalypse' - two ideologues fighting for supremacy and neither can afford to look weak by backing down from over zealous statements. What do you think the chances are? Trump might blink late to save his skin if the markets have already capitulated. He's started to position the blame on China for currency manipulation (they did the opposite and let the natural market determine level).
Chinese tacticle non-intervention to illustrate weaponary.
Check out capital flight into the wekly US10Y Bonds safe haven driving returns down.
US10Y Bonds back under the long term monthly downward trend after indicating a reversal of trend. Break below the double bottom line is further confirmation of continuation of capital flight out of 'relativel' risk assets.
Gold 5 year Breakout on increasing Volume on the Monthly - another safe haven driving the price up. Currently over bought and a pull back due.
Interesting big cycle ascending triangle pattern forming on the ALL ORDs monthly chart. Break above the 2007 top after a pull back is great news for anyone long stocks with a rush to the top. Break below the trend line off 2009 bottom that has picked up two major up ticks will be too late and confirmation of a substantial bear market.
Holistically, monthly charts indicate its time to at least review positions despite the urge to hold on for more. DYOR this is not trading advice only an opinion.
Good luck!
Cheers
